Toolholding System Boosts Removal Capacity
The Coromant Capto C10 toolholding system from Sandvik Coromant is designed to improve performance by enabling higher feeds and greater depths of cut for heavy machining operations in large components.
The Coromant Capto C10 toolholding system from Sandvik Coromant improves performance by enabling higher feeds and greater depths of cut for heavy machining operations in large components. A 3.937" flange diameter provides coupling suitable for heavy loads and stability in milling and turning applications. The holder increases removal capacity at higher torques.
The system includes a range of holders and adapters, from shrink-fit SL adapters and ER chucks to tap adapters, making it suitable for a variety of machine types, including turning centers, machining centers and multitasking machines. The toolholding system is said to enable standardization, reduce inventory costs and simplify tool handling.
