The three-flute, coolant-through Mega Muscle drill is designed specifically for drilling at feed rates 1.5 to 2 times faster than a two-flute drill. The company says it may also be used at lower spindle speeds, which decreases the amount of wear and prolongs tool life. This design is said to offer higher hole accuracy with less work hardening, which leads to improved tool life for secondary operations such as tapping.
The company also offers its new HY-PRO CARB VGx Variable Geometry end mill designed for stable, chatter-free cutting in mild to severe milling operations as well as the EXOCARB-Aero UVX variable index and variable helix end mills suitable for exotic aircraft materials.
