GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms, a unit of GE Enterprise Solutions, offers a stand-alone version of its high-performance 0i-D CNC. The stand-alone version, called the 0i-D SA, combines features of the LCD-mounted 0i-D with the flexibility of a Fanuc Panel I PC front-end. This front-end allows standard Microsoft Windows applications and custom applications to be written for the stand-alone CNC.
The 0i-D enables high speed and high-precision machining using nano interpolations and optional AI contour control. Integrated operation and program guidance is available with Fanuc Manual Guide I, and embedded Ethernet provides easy connectivity, the company says. The CNC is fully customizable using Fanuc Picture software. The software is also NCGuide compatible for easy development and training, the company says.
The CNC is available with the all-in-one BiSVSP spindle/servo amplifier with Beta I series motors for compact performance or with Alpha I series for high speed and accuracy. Fanuc ECC, FSSB fiber optic servo bus and HRV3 servo control ensure performance and reliability, the company says.
