Share

Leaders-In background

According to the company, the solid carbide micro end mills are designed with a geometrically optimized cutting edge and a slim, concave, tapered neck to provide flexible, high-performance milling solutions in a wide variety of materials from 66 Rc hardened steel to graphite. The tools are offered in cutting diameters from 0.008" (0.2 mm) to 0.08" (2 mm), with effective cutting length-to-diameter ratios of 2.2:1, 5:1 and 10:1. They are suited for milling injection molds and extrusion dies; graphite and copper electrodes; high-precision surface structuring of macroscopic components; and micro-mechanical parts production. The line of micro end mills includes ballnose, torus and flat-end styles, and the tools are available in 24 different designs, uncoated or with TiAlN coating. The tools are also suitable for diamond coating, which is available upon request.
