Vero’s Edgecam 2014 R1 CAM software features updates designed to optimize high-precision machining through SolidWorks. The Edgecam Workflow software application uses component topology and a manufacturing environment to accelerate toolpath generation. It is designed to help reduce costs, improve quality and achieve shorter lead times. G code is created using a ribbon interface, and guided automation accomplishes part setup, analysis, feature creation, manufacture and deployment. The software’s simplified operation reduces the learning curve for new users, the company says.
