The two-axis Wireless Smart Machinist levels (models DWL-1300XY and DWL-1500XY) from Digi-Pas speed up leveling alignment tasks by improving dimensional accuracy. They contribute to machine stability and suit CNC metalcutting machine setup, maintenance, inspection and testing. The levels reduce user errors by enabling users to view X and Y readings simultaneously on wireless devices. Users can adjust a machine’s footing without the need to repeatedly check the level display, which reduces alignment time.
The levels are powered by micro-electromechanical system (MEMS)-sensor technology and are equipped with vibrometers capable of measuring increments as small as 0.0002"/ft or 5 arcseconds (0.02 mm/m). The levels are applicable in the precision machining, metrology, automotive, medical, oil and gas, construction and research industries.
