The Renishaw SP25M scanning probe is now available with either articulating or non-articulating heads for the Discovery II CMM. With analog scanning and touch trigger probing capability combined in the probing system, its scanned data points can be compared with original CAD data in the FormFit module of Measuremax+ inspection software. Or, for reverse engineering applications, point data can be imported into third party reverse engineering packages.
