Replaceable-Tip, Single-Tube BTA Tool
Allied Machine & Engineering offers the BT-A drill.
Allied Machine & Engineering offers the BT-A drill. The tool features T-A replaceable-tip technology suited for BTA deep hole drilling applications. The design uses the company’s T-A drilling system inserts, including GEN2 T-A, to maximize penetration rates and tool life. The product can be used with standard BTA, single-tube designs to flush the spent coolant and chips through the tool. The T-A drill insert is replaceable, which eliminates regrind, the company says. Also, balanced cutting enables increased feed rates.
