Sandvik Materials Technology will exhibit its range of stainless bar and hollow bar for machining. The company’s hollow bar line includes several grades of austenitic stainless steel as well as duplex stainless steel in a range of sizes, with ODs ranging from 32 to 273 mm (1.26" to 10.75"). These Sanmac stainless steel materials have consistent machining properties for increased cutting speeds, reduced tool wear and setup times, and hollow bar provides as much as triple the output capabilities of solid bar, says the company.
Materials on display will include Sanmac 2205 duplex (austenitic-ferritic) stainless steel, Sanmac 316/316L molybdenum-alloyed austenitic chromium-nickel steel and Sanmac 304/304L austenitic chromium-nickel steel.
