Pump Provides Increased Operating Life

Available for Omax’s JetMachining Centers, the EnduroMAX pump is said to provide increased operating life, faster part processing, and reduced operating costs and maintenance compared to previous designs.

Available for Omax’s JetMachining Centers, the EnduroMAX pump is said to provide increased operating life, faster part processing, and reduced operating costs and maintenance compared to previous designs. The pump features a 1,000-hour operating range between rebuilds when run at 55,000 psi (3,800 bar) to maximize machine uptime. The pump can also run continuously at 60,000 psi (4,100 bar).
 
Compared to intensifier pump designs, the company says its pump is more efficient, delivers more horsepower to the nozzle and uses less electricity. The 3060, 4060 and 5060 pump models deliver 60,000 psi and 30, 40 and 50 hp, respectively.
 
An improved seal design increases the pump’s operating life and decreased maintenance time. Independent pump cylinders are used instead of a manifold-style, wet-end assembly, enabling the individual cylinders to be rebuilt as opposed to the entire assembly. Pump life has also been improved through the design of critical ultra high-pressure (UHP) components.
