SecoPoint is an integrated program designed to help users of cutting tools measure, control, influence and manage manufacturing processes.
The program features software called PCA (productivity and cost analysis). PCA measures a process or workpiece as it moves through production, providing an analysis of the manufacturing process, machine utilization and cutting tool optimization. The operator can use the software to identify those operations and processes that need improvement.
The company says that by using this system, it has made recommendations that have improved productivity.
