View MoreThe company offers its swissQuick toolholding system for ER 8 to ER 25 collets and clamping ranges from 0.5 to 13 mm. According to the company, tools can be changed quickly, and tool assemblies can be preset offline to maximize production time. The toolholder is made from high-tensile-strength, case-hardened steel to reduce wear and increase component life.
Also on display are cylindrical holders, which are compatible with the company’s ER collets and designed for various automatic machines. Ranging from ER 8 to ER 40, the holders can combine with other holders to extend cutting tools for small-part machining.
The tight-tolerance cylindrical holders offer 0.0001" runout and achieve high repeatability, the company says. Each holder features a distinct product marking to reduce tool-selection errors as well as a lot number for product traceability.
