With a 3" capacity, the pliers support a wide range of jobs, the company says. The large 1.5" (38 mm) diameter swivel pad on the top jaw is said to make positive contact with the workpiece. An adjustable V-pad on the bottom jaw holds round, square, flat or angled stock.
Grip marks on the pliers' top and bottom handles support positive gripping power and the secure adjustment bar minimizes bar pop-outs. The pliers also feature a smooth release trigger that quickly unlocks the pliers with one hand without pinching fingers.
