The BNC150 is a PcBN insert grade designed for continuous high speed machining and light interrupted cutting of hardened steels. The fine-grain PcBN substrate has a TiCN ceramic coating, which is said to provide consistent surface finish and long tool life. All cutting edge corners are brazed individually for strength. The insert grade is available in positive, negative and wiper versions.
