Parker Hannifin's SmogHog Increases Mist Collection Efficiency
Parker Hannifin’s SmogHog SHM mist collector includes a new motor/blower system that is designed for increased reliability.
The Industrial Gas Filtration and Generation Division of Parker Hannifin Corporation has updated its fabric-style media collector for indoor factory processes. Operators can use the SmogHog SHM Floor mist and smoke collector as a stand-alone solution or as part of a centralized system. Improvements include a new motor/blower system that is designed for increased reliability. A new blower cabinet design with longer dwell time in and across the main filter media is said to increase mist filtration efficiency. The external, touchscreen control panel with has been relocated to the side of the cabinet to help provide better visibility and easy access to system functions, user settings and alerts because of its positioning at the side of the cabinet.
The system also includes an after-filter cabinet located between the main filter chamber and the blower cabinet. Customers can choose between a 95% DOP or HEPA media filter. This provides increased filtration efficiency, easier access for after-filter media maintenance and additional protection for the blower chamber.
