Palmgren Offers Flexible Two-Headed Belt Grinder
Palmgren’s 2" × 72" Dual Station Variable Speed Belt Grinder enables roughing, intermediate grinding and blending as well as final finishing and polishing.
Palmgren’s 2" × 72" Dual Station Variable Speed Belt Grinder delivers enhanced grinding and finishing productivity in one machine. Palmgren says the belt grinder, which features two belt heads, ensures the ultimate flexibility to handle platen grinding, contact wheel grinding and slack-back grinding.
The grinder’s design enables roughing to intermediate grinding to blending as well as final finishing and polishing. It offers the convenience of grinding belts and can be easily changed in seconds without tools due to Palmgren’s single-handle quick-release system. For optimum use, the belt arms can tilt from 0-90° to quickly change between grinding applications. Palmgren says the variable speed drive system enables precise belt speed for any grinding or finishing application.
