Rouse-Arno NM1 inserts from Rouse & Co. are designed to improve turning applications involving steel and stainless steel. The tools are produced with a micro polished surface to promote a strong cutting edge, in turn reducing edge breakage.
Three grades are available: AM350, which is useful for universal machining of stainless steel; AR170 for finishing applications and light to medium machining of steel, stainless and cast iron; and AR270, which is suitable for general machining of steel at high cutting speeds.
