Big Kaiser’s Mega New Baby Chuck 25N clamps drills, reamers and finishing end mills ranging from 0.610" to 1" in diameter. The multipurpose collet chuck system is designed for precision and speed, guaranteeing a 1-micron runout accuracy at the collet nose, according to the company. It is said to be ideal for high-speed applications.
The thrust ball bearings are said to eliminate distortion of the collet during tightening, while the collet’s design prevents the ball bearings from moving at high speed.
The chuck is offered in six collet series sizes, with 353 different holder lengths and diameters available. It is available for Big Plus (SK/BT), HSK and Big Capto. Additional features include a two-way coolant supply that goes through tools or jet if the tools do not have holes and a runout precision of 0.03 mm at 4×D.
