Seco-Carboloy has added fixed-pocket and adjustable cutters to its range of 335.18 indexable insert disc mills. These tools can be employed when dealing with difficult materials or for extended reach applications. Available in a range of grades, the products are suitable for machining a spectrum of materials.
Free cutting (positive geometry) LNKT and LNKW inserts and round 6-mm and 8-mm RD and RP styles are also included in the expanded line. These have corner radii from 0.015" to 0.122" for use in disc milling applications. In addition, a range of grades is available to work with steel, stainless steel and cast iron. The cutter bodies feature cassettes for precision and depth-of-cut machining from 0.390" to 5.90". The cutters range in size from 4" to 10" inches and are available with and without hub.
