Spring Technologies will exhibit its WYSIWYC (What You See Is What You Cut) mobile system, which embeds the company's NCSimul Player 9.2 simulation reviewer in a Panasonic Toughpad IP65 tablet PC. Functioning with the company's CNC simulation program, NCSimul Machine, the reviewer software enables shopfloor operators to interact remotely with one or several CNC machines and their machining processes in 3D and in real time. Instruction sheets and worksheets are also directly accessible from the mobile application. According to the company, the mobile system produces higher productivity because the simultaneous accessibility of simulator and reviewer means fewer errors, better decision-making, smoother shift changeover and easier multi-machine supervision. The company says the smartphone-type touch technology also serves as an effective tool for training modules.
