MC Machinery to Showcase EDMs and More
Eastec 2021: MC Machinery will highlight two EDM machines, a five-axis VMC and more in booth 1426.
MC Machinery plans to exhibit its latest machining technology at Eastec in booth 1426. The company, a subsidiary of the Mitsubishi Corp., is a supplier and servicer of fabrication and milling equipment, including Mitsubishi lasers, EDMs and automation systems.
At Eastec, the company will have the following machines on site: Mitsubishi’s compact sinker EDM, the EA8S; the Ingersoll Eagle V550 high-speed, five-axis VMC; and MC Machinery’s best-selling wire EDM, the MV1200-R.
The EA8S CNC sinker EDM is designed to reduce electrical consumption by 20% and decrease electrode wear by as much as 50% when machining tungsten carbide. The Mitsubishi control features a 15-inch touchscreen and ergonomic design. The EA8S is MC Machinery’s smallest sinker EDM, making it suitable for producing small parts as well as tool and mold work.
The Roku HC658II is a full-bridge style machine well suited for hard milling and electrode manufacturing, according to MC Machinery. It has a 32,000 rpm spindle and reportedly superior graphite protection.
MC Machinery says the MV1200-R wire EDM features the latest machine construction, auto-threading, internal machine communication and power supply technology. The MV-R series is said to be reliable and easy to use, spurring increased productivity and efficiency.
