Leaders-In background

Forcam’s Factory Framework manufacturing execution system (MES) is a shopfloor management software suite designed for results-oriented performance measurement and benchmarking. The scalable, hierarchic solution can be used to track performance across multiple plants and locations. The interface uses modular Web technology visualization and real-time reporting capabilities to provide clear reports.

The software connects, collects and standardizes real-time data from heterogeneous machine controls. The signals deliver Web-based, comparable operating conditions of machines and systems (production, downtime, setup and so on) in order to provide transparent and reliable shopfloor performance data, the company says. In addition, the suite connects the data from production to the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. According to the company, it is easy to arrive at a reliable overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) figure using the collected data.
