View MoreSuperstrength Rare Earth plate magnets from Eriez use Erium 3000, a (neodymium-boron-iron) permanent power source, to develop a magnetic field, which, according to the company, creates a strong magnetic pull when compared to conventional ceramic (barium ferrite) or Alnico (aluminum-nickel-cobalt) magnetic materials.
The magnets remove fine iron contaminants from a range of dry bulk or liquid products. Contaminants are said to adhere so tightly that wipe off by product flow is virtually eliminated.
Standard units are suitable for temperatures as high as 150 degrees Fahrenheit. Customized units are available to accommodate higher temperatures.
