View MoreSuhner Industrial Products’ BEX8 machining block spindle is suitable for high-speed operations ranging to 25,000 rpm and offers a spindle concentricity better than 0.01 mm, the company says. The spindle is intended for high-production departments in automotive, appliance, off-highway and other industries.
According to Suhner, the BEX8 is a smaller version of its BEX15 spindle, but weighs only 33 lbs and can be mounted directly onto robotic arms for fully automated machining. The spindle adapts to the UA15 slide unit via the integral mounting supports. The standard motor provides a power option of either 0.37 or 0.75 kW and the standard toolholder supplied is ER20.
