Riten’s redesigned CNC Sprint series live center features accuracy ranging to ±0.00004" and a full-length spindle for maximum rigidity. Developed for aggressive, high-horsepower turning and grinding applications, the live center enables deeper cuts, better surface finish and extended service life, the company says.

The live center is available in standard, tracer and long points in 4 and 5 Morse taper. It can support workpieces weighing as much as 5,000 lbs at speeds ranging to 6,000 rpm.

C4T live centers are said to combine performance benefits of the Sprint design with a frictionless labyrinth bearing isolator seal that provides permanent bearing protection. The C4T is suited for operations requiring high pressure and flood coolants.
