Lightweight Tombstone Suitable for Smaller CNCs
The Tri-Top tombstone from Lang Technovation enables the use of three devices to maximize efficiency and minimize shutdown times for four- and five-axis machines.
The three-face, Tri-Top tombstone from Lang Technovation enables the use of three devices to maximize efficiency and minimize shutdown times for four- and five-axis machines. Weighing 12.1 lbs (5.5 kg), the aluminum device is designed to ease handling and lifting. A height of 6.574" (167 mm) makes it suitable for machining multiple workpieces in smaller CNC machines.
The company’s 52-mm Quick-Point clamping system is integrated into the tombstone solution, so no additional weight is added through steel adapter plates. This system uses Makro-Grip vises or clamping studs attached directly to the workpieces. It also features zero-point clamping, with only one actuation screw per device, and hardened fit bushings to increase longevity and precision. The base is 7.007" (178 mm) in diameter and includes clamping studs to fit 96-mm Quick-Point zero-point plates.
