LED Panel Luminaires for Volatile Environments

Waldmann Lighting offers its Lumatris high-intensity luminous LED panel luminaires. Available in 90 or 180 LED versions, the light fixture provides work areas of different sizes with homogeneous, wide-area lighting. High light output is combined with specially designed optics to accentuate accessible light without glare or heat. The anodized aluminum housing and 4-mm-thick safety glass resists coolants and lubricants, making the luminaire well-suited for even volatile machining environments. Because of its flat construction, the light fixture is suitable for built-in and external mounting. The luminaire can be connected directly to 24 VDC without additional components. The luminaire can be switched to half or full power, depending on the task. For half power, every second LED is switched off. In contrast to dimming, this technique produces no hazardous stroboscopic effect and provides additional operator safety, the company says.
