Integrated Toolholders with Exchangeable-Head Coupling
Sandvik Coromant’s range of integrated toolholders is designed for compatibility with CoroMill 316 exchangeable-head (EH) tools.
Sandvik Coromant’s range of integrated toolholders is designed for compatibility with CoroMill 316 exchangeable-head (EH) tools. The holders are said to improve torque transmission and reduce runout compared to cylindrical shanks clamped in a precision chuck with comparable tool overhang. Additionally, integrated holders with an EH coupling also provide shorter total programming length and higher stability when all machining variables are the same.
