The CocoCut XS line can produce precision-turned components with diameters as small as 1 mm.
While useful for high-volume production, these XS inserts contain sharp edges, ensuring tolerances in external machining operations such as grooving, threading, parting and turning. The line has a grooving width of 0.5 mm and a parting width of 0.7 mm.
The design allows the insert screw to be reached from either side of the toolholder, offering access when indexing the insert.
