Waldmann’s popular line of Mach LED Plus-Forty machine lights provide high illumination even in the most restricted of spaces with their slim, compact form factor, measuring just 1 ¾" in diameter. The lights are now also available with a pulse-width modulation (PWM) interface and digital input for cold switching. PWM is a modulation technique used to encode a message into a pulsing signal, in this case with flashing and flicker-free dimming of the light fixtures when a machine is testing its operation.

Available in four lengths and output levels with options of a 40-degree narrow or 90-degree wide beam angle, the lights deliver low-glare, uniform lighting with soft transitions. A choice of mounting brackets allows for even more control of the light direction, increasing the possibility to customize light to the machine. A Viton seal provides a high degree of protection.

Made with a solid aluminum housing and 4-mm thick safety glass, the Mach LED Plus-Forty resists coolants, lubricants, high temperatures, shocks and vibrations to accommodate in harsh machining environments. Integration and connection are made easier with an M12 connector (included), and various models allow for through-wiring, if needed. These lights are said to offer 60,000 hours of maintenance-free operation.
