Greenerd Press & Machine’s HPBS-40 bench-type, C-frame hydraulic straightening presses are designed for aerospace applications such as straightening wing spar cords. The press features an electronic joystick ram control to provide full, precise speed and force control at virtually any point of the machine’s stroke, enabling increased accuracy and repeatability. Releasing the joystick or palm button automatically stops the press ram for safety. A compact control panel enables digital control over press functions via a touchscreen. Tonnage and ram position also can be viewed at virtually any position during each stroke. The press features a rugged frame designed to FEA standards and a 14" stroke. Pressure reversal, distance reversal, top stop, bottom stop stroke positions and other functions are available.
