The Tendo hydraulic expansion toolholder offers high-precision shank tool clamping suitable for high speed machining; heavy-duty milling; internal grinding, boring and chamfering; reaming; and tool grinding. Intermediate sleeves enable different shank diameters to be clamped in the same toolholder for application versatility and tooling cost savings. These toolholders are closed units that operate free of dirt, coolants, lubricants and chips to ensure low maintenance and high operating lifetime, the company says.
The company’s Vero Quick-Change Pallet System, which is said to reduce machine setup times by as much as 90 percent, now offers 9,000 lbs. of pull-in force. All functional components of this system are made of hardened stainless steel.
