BIG Kaiser Precision Tooling has expanded its turning tool line to include HSK-T63 tools for mill-turn centers (MTCs). The company’s modular turning cartridge system now includes toolholders to support virtually any MTC spindle interface.
The HSK-T designation was originally acknowledged as the ICTM standard. HSK-T is an accurate and rigid dual-contact interface designed to improve tool accuracy by utilizing high-tolerance drive keys. HSK-A rotary tools are fully compatible with HSK-T type spindles.
The company’s HSK-T63 line offers modular turning tools for mill-turn applications in either a 45-degree tilt style or a 90-degree right angle style. The complimentary HSK-A63 program includes a variety of rotary toolholders for milling, drilling, tapping, reaming and boring. Together, they provide a complete tooling system for MTCs with HSK-T63 spindles.
