View MoreThe company releases its new LMV 1000 diode-pumped Nd:YV04 laser marker, which is designed to produce finer and smaller marks on decreasing part real estate in the electronics and medical industries.
The product features a different crystal lasing medium, YV04 (also known as vanadate), and the ability to pump the laser through the end of the crystal rather than from the side. The company believes that this method offers a number of advantages, such as: increased lasing efficiency, higher peak power, shorter Q-switch pulse durations and better beam quality.
This laser can produce line widths down to 20 microns, character sizes to 100 microns and data matrix codes with 20-micron cell sizes, according to the company.
