The M-6iB/6S solution arm from Fanuc Robotics America is the latest member of the robot series of the same name. The robots include several model variations and enhanced performance options to meet the needs of users with high speed, lightweight applications for assembly, parts transfer and picking and packing.
Many companies find that broken air lines and electrical connections are a source of downtime in plants, says the company. This robot can potentially solve this dilemma by offering a method of routing air lines and electrical connections to the end-of-arm tool.
The company also offers the M-6iB/2HS solution arm, which, like the aforementioned model arm, features hollow wrist and pre-engineered EOAT cabling for reduced time and costs associated with EOAT dress-out.
