Allied Machine & Engineering offers the High Rake insert geometry for the Revolution Drill and Opening Drill inserts. The geometry is designed to form quality chips at lighter feed rates and increase tool life in long chipping, carbon and alloy steels measuring less than 200 Bhn. The inserts are available in C5 (P35) carbide grade in both AM200 and AM300 coatings.
