Leaders-In background
Developed by Brown & Sharpe TESA, the Tesa Micro-Hite 3D Direct Computer Control (DCC) is a coordinate measuring system with a volume of 17" × 19" × 15.5". It features a light alloy base fitted with a granite measuring table. The offset triangular bridge is designed to provide a low center of gravity and a favorable stiffness-to-mass ratio, while air bearings provide frictionless motion in all three axes. The product's custom opto-electronic measuring system provides accuracy of 3 + 4(L/1,000) mm and repeatability to 3.5 micrometers. It also is equipped with PC-DMIS PRO metrology software, which automatically recognizes the feature type of any given part and creates an interactive, on-screen graphical representation of that part. A preview window identifies the feature and lets the operator review all measurements as they are created in real time. In adittion, the product includes the TesaStar Touch Trigger Probe or the TesaStar-i Indexable Probe. Both feature adjustable trigger force from 0.1 N to 0.3 N. The Indexable Probe is adjustible to 168 positions in 15-degree increments.
