View MoreKays Engineering presents its Eldorado KM75-48 three-axis gundrilling machine, which is used to manufacture products like transmission shafts, manifolds and mold matrices. The machine includes Beckhoff controls with G-code programming for flexibility. The machine is designed to enable complex gundrilling operations to be performed with a single fixturing setup.
The KM75-48 features a knee-fixture table to provide thee-axis CNC gundrilling capability. Drill capacity ranges from 0.078" to 0.75" (1.98 to 19.1 mm). Drill slide travel in the Z axis is 48" (1,219 mm), with table travel of 24" (610 mm) in the X axis and 12" (305 mm) in the Y- axis.
All Eldorado machines feature hardened and ground box ways and hand-scraped mating components, which are said to damp vibration, extend tool life and improve surface finish.
