Kapp Niles offers the KX 100 Dynamic gear machining center designed for mass production of external planetary gears ranging to 125 mm. According to the company, its independent twin pickup work spindles provide optimum productivity and reduce tooling setup time. Work arbor change and verification is automated, and grinding worm change is semi‐automated. The KX 100 can be offered as a turnkey solution with “basket stacker” automation and tooling. An integrated pallet conveyor offers space and cost savings.
The company also offers the ZE 800 profile gear grinder for high-helix internal gears ranging to 40 degrees.
