Leaders-In background

Exair’s 1" stainless steel Super air nozzle produces a flat, 1"-wide (25 mm) airstream with a strong blowing force of 9.8 oz. when mounted 12" (305 mm) from the target. The nozzle is designed for applications such as chip removal, part cleaning and cooling in tight spaces and corrosive, high-temperature environments.

The nozzle is designed to maximize entrained airflow while reducing noise levels. Air is released through the 0.015" (0.38-mm) air gap opening with a stainless steel shim positioned between the body and removable cap. Force and flow can be adjusted by installing different shim thicknesses. The high-velocity airstream pulls in surrounding air to produce a wide stream of laminal airflow. Air consumption is 10 scfm at 80 psig.

The nozzle is also available in a zinc aluminum alloy version for industrial applications.
