Intended for use with Hirschmann Engineering USA’s Fixturing System 5000, the company’s 3-PIN Holder H8.88.6829 provides positive clamping of long, rectangular electrodes or workpieces. It incorporates a 3-PIN concept that offers the capability to mount electrodes or workpieces using three dowel pins and two or more tapped holes.
The slots located on the face of the holder are precisely positioned at the center of the pallet prisms on the rear of the holder, an arrangement that is said to provide repeatability. According to the company, this product line eliminates the need to store pallets dedicated to electrodes or workpieces.
