The MU-10000H, a five-axis HMC from Okuma, is designed for challenging applications in aerospace machining, heavy equipment and other large parts. Built on Okuma’s Thermo-Friendly Concept, the machine can run from a cold start because it resists thermal deformation, the company says. The machine features a large trunnion table with a 1-m² pallet and a two-pallet APC. It can accommodate workpieces as heavy as 5,500 lbs and as large as 59.05" in diameter by 44.29" tall. The machine can provide a maximum 1,416 foot-pounds (1,920 Nm) of torque. The HMC is equipped with THINC P200MA.
