Rollomatic’s Nano5 is an addition to the GrindSmart series of CNC tool grinding machines. The five-axis CNC burr-grinding machine is suited for production grinding of medical and dental burrs as well as other orthopedic applications. The machine is designed for short cycle times, precision and flexibility. It also features an integrated, automatic, pick-and-place loader.
According to the company, the machine is equipped with an extensive and well-proven software package called BurCalc. The software allows control over the entire cutting geometry on burrs. The machine can grind burrs in stainless steel, steel, carbide or two-piece construction. It includes full automation with features for unattended operation.
