Fiber Laser Simplifies Programming
The MeccoMark fiber laser marking system from Mecco Marking and Traceability facilitates integration with factory automation networks using Ethernet/IP protocol.
The MeccoMark fiber laser marking system from Mecco Marking and Traceability facilitates integration with factory automation networks using Ethernet/IP protocol. Along with embedded control technology, this integration capability is said to save time and money by eliminating the need for custom programming of programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Instead, factory-floor PLCs can control laser marking systems, simplifying the communication process to one PLC for loading, configuring and marking a job file.
The versatile marking system features a universal rail design and accommodates power options ranging from 10 to 50 W. The fiber laser is equipped with an upgraded scanhead for faster marking speeds, an LCD screen for improved diagnostic capabilities and a sealed laser rail for better component protection in harsh industrial environments.
