Version 2008.2 of this ERP software system enhances many existing functions within the application, while also bringing in a host of new features for improving on-time delivery and lowering the cost of manufacturing.

Updates include enhancements to the task scheduler; recalculation of overtime by utilizing shift rules; reverse WIP to WIP; data conversion mapper; bank reconciliation through multiple currencies; and increased business intelligence capabilities.

The shopfloor control improvements bring extended capabilities to management through ERP, as well as improvements to the general ledger, cost accounting and other shop operations.

Tasks are made more efficient through an enhanced Global Shop task scheduler. The updated software features a variety of different utilities and programs that can be set up to run unattended overnight, or at virtually any desired date, time, interval or frequency. The benefit of this improvement is that those programs or utilities that take a significant amount of time to run or those that require users to be logged out, can be run after usual administration business hours.

A new data conversion mapper is used to convert data from all operation sources into the Global Shop system. In addition, the bank reconciliation module is expanded to include multiple currency reconciliation.
