Bowen&Groves has released version 6.6 of M1, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) program for growing small- to medium-sized manufacturing businesses. In addition to business analysis and productivity tools, the software has an enhanced interface with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook) and other standard industry software programs such as OpenOffice and Thunderbird.
Features include the ability to create call records from e-mails and the ability to save selected attachments. The software is integrated with Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), which can display the customer’s details as soon as the phone rings. The ability to use the shopfloor entry data collection module with a PDA allows users to access the software capabilities from remote locations.
