View MoreIMCO Carbide Tool’s Inconex M8 series end mills are designed for machining high-temperature alloys including Inconel, Hastalloy, Waspalloy and more. The tools are suitable for applications in the aerospace and energy industries and are said to offer longer tool life than conventional cutting tools.
Each end mill features a carbide core with high transverse rupture strength and size flutes with optimized rake and relief angles for greater cutting edge engagement. An AlCrNX coating protects the tool’s edges from the heat generated in the cutting zone, and each edge is designed to reduce edge-wear stress in the cutting zone. In addition, the edge design produces smaller chips that can be easily flushed from the work zone, the company says.
