According to the company, the printers print faster than other 3D-printing technologies, and can print multiple, stacked models simultaneously. The ZPrinter 250 and other color ZPrinters can print simultaneously in multiple colors.
Both printers incorporate automation features, including automatic setup, automatic powder loading, and self-monitoring of materials and print status. They offer 300 × 450-dpi resolution and minimum feature size of 0.016" (0.4 mm). Vertical build speed is 0.8"/hr (20 mm/hr), and build size is 9.3" × 7.3" × 5" (236 × 185 × 127 mm).
