Norton Abrasives will highlight the NorZon Plus depressed-center wheels for right-angle grinding applications, including the new NorZon Plus Fast Cut wheels. Featuring a blend of Norton’s SG ceramic alumina and BlueFire zirconia alumina abrasives combined with a high-performance bond system, the wheels are said to improve grain micro-fracturing for a continual supply of serrated cutting edges. According to the company, the wheels improve productivity, wheel life and overall cost effectiveness for right-angle grinding applications. The wheels are available in sizes 4" to 9" in ¼" thickness, and are suitable for use with steel, stainless steel and other ferrous metals.
