The Deepgroove tooling series is designed for external and internal deep face grooving, OD grooving, parting and turning operations. External face grooving major diameters start at 20 mm and internal face grooving major diameters start at 40 mm. The tooling has a modular support blade design and is capable of working against a shoulder or along a bore wall. Submicron grain carbide inserts are available in widths from 2 mm to 6 mm.
